What is a W-2?
- A W-2 tax form shows the amount of taxes withheld from your paycheck for the year and is used to file your federal and state taxes.
- The IRS requires employers to report wage and salary information for employees on Form W-2. Your W-2 also reports the amount of federal, state and other taxes withheld from your paycheck. As an employee, the information on your W-2 is extremely important when preparing your tax return.
Who will receive a W-2
- Only Intelypros who picked up a shift in 2025 will receive a 2025 W-2.
When will my W-2 be mailed?
- To ensure you have it in time, the IRS requires your employer to send you a W-2 no later than January 31 following the close of the tax year. You can get your W-2 faster by enrolling in Paperless.
- You will receive a notification as soon as your W-2 is available if you have registered for Paperless.
- Click HERE for steps to access your W-2 through ADP.
Can I get my W-2 earlier?
- A copy of the W-2 is available online before it arrives in the mail. Click here for more information.
Will an IntelyPro get a W-2 even if they were terminated?
- If you worked for Intelycare at any point in 2025, regardless of your current account status, you will receive a W-2 reporting the wages you earned. The W-2 will be mailed to you unless you signed up for Paperless through ADP while working with Intelycare.
- If you did not work in 2025 for Intelycare, you would not receive a W-2 from Intelycare.
Will the W-2 be available in the IntelyCare App?
- At the moment, the W-2 form is only available on ADP. For instructions on accessing your W-2 online, please click here.
I have not received my W-2
To ensure employees receive their W-2 in time, the IRS requires all employers to send a W-2 no later than January 31 following the close of the tax year, which is usually December 31. Paper W-2s will not be sent to IntelyPros that are enrolled in Paperless.
- If you have not enrolled in paperless and haven't received your W-2, please allow 7 business days from January 31st to receive it in the mail.
- You can also access your W-2 online. Click here to see the instructions.
If the W-2 was not received due to the incorrect address on file
- If you have moved and did not update IntelyCare before the W-2 went out, we recommend accessing your W-2 online. Click here to see the instructions. You should be able to access your pay statements and year-end tax statements at any time via myadp.com . First do the following: Clear your cache and cookies. Make sure that no other web browsers are open. Open a new Chrome or Edge browser and type in myadp.com. Enter your username (it's your email without the ".com"). Then select "need help signing in". This will search for you by name, phone number/email and allow you to reset your password. If this doesn't work, please call ADP directly at 844-944-4222, because unfortunately only you and ADP can reset your password. If you contact ADP and they are still not able to help, please let us know and we will escalate the issue with ADP. You may send an email to careteam@intelycare.com .
Why did I receive multiple W-2s?
- If you worked in multiple tax zones, such as different counties or states, during a single year, you will receive a W-2 for each zone you worked in.
- The mailed pages will each contain the tax details from two zones where you worked, each listed twice on its page. You will need to include the information from all localities on your tax return.
I need a W-2 from before IntelyCare started using ADP
- If you need an old W-2, please email us at careteam@intelycare.com or utilize our IntelyCare in-app chat feature for immediate assistance.
Do I need a 1099 form?
- IntelyCare does not operate as a 1099 employer. This means that individuals who work with IntelyCare are not classified as independent contractors for tax purposes. As a result, IntelyCare does not issue the 1099 tax form to its workers. If you are seeking a 1099 form for your work with IntelyCare, please be aware that this form will not be provided, since the company does not utilize this classification for its workforce.
