Ohio Background Check

The process for getting your background check run in the state of Ohio is below.  If you have any questions on the process, please email [e-mail] or use our IntelyCare in-app chat feature for immediate assistance. 

What is the process?

1. You will sign your background check release form during the onboarding process.
2. You will then be asked in the app if you have lived in Ohio for 5 consecutive years or more.  This will determine what kind of fingerprinting you will need.
3. Once you have answered this question, you will be presented with the instructions to schedule your fingerprint appointment.  After you have opened it there, it will also be emailed to you.
4. You will initiate the process by visiting Fast Fingerprint’s registration portal at https://register.fastfingerprints.com/account-entry . You will then select/click the "I HAVE A CODE" button.
   1. Enter in the Code 1VCZ8GIX for BCI only (5+ years residency) or 1VCZ8GP4 for both BCI & FBI checks (Less than 5 years residency)
   2. Upon entering the Access Code and confirming that the identified company is accurate, you will proceed to select a convenient fingerprinting location and provide your personally identifiable information.
   3. After completing your appointment, Fast Fingerprint’s automated system will take care of the subsequent steps, ensuring efficient processing and seamless communication. 

How long will it take to get my results?

Background check results can take between 30-45 days to be sent to IntelyCare.  Once we have received your results, we will upload them to your profile right away.

What if my results take longer to come back?

Please email [e-mail] if it has been more than 45 days since you were fingerprinted and your results are not in the app.
