A shift marked as a "Sure Shift" is one that the facility has agreed not to cancel. When you accept a Sure Shift, you can be guaranteed that you will be paid-- if a cancellation does occur, you will be paid out just like if you worked the shift!
What does a Sure Shift look like in the app?
- When you open the IntelyCare app and then navigate to the For You page, the Sure Shifts option is added to the carousel.
- Sure Shifts will be labeled with a purple badge.
If my Sure Shift gets cancelled, how much will I be paid?
- While Sure Shifts rarely get cancelled, if the facility does cancel yours, you will be paid the hours of the shift minus any expected meal breaks.
- As such, if the shift was 8 hours long, you will be paid 7 and a half hours at the rate you accepted the shift for.
