Choosing a Strong Password
Hackers use sophisticated tools to crack weak passwords in seconds. So make sure your password includes the following:
- At least 15 characters
- At least 1 uppercase letter
- At least 1 lowercase letter
- At least 1 number
- At least 1 special character or symbol
Here’s an example of a strong password:
EnM4K=b):k@U*Nr9Y
Avoid using easily guessed information like your name, birthdate, or simple patterns like “123456” or “Password1.” Also, never reuse the same password across multiple sites — if one account is compromised, all the others become vulnerable.
