During onboarding, IntelyCare requires all IntelyPros to submit professional references. Collecting references allows IntelyCare to verify applicants' qualifications and experiences, ensuring a skilled workforce.
Reference Requirements
- For RNs/LPNs- 2 references are required. One must be a manager within the healthcare field, such as a previous manager or DON. One must be a peer within the healthcare field.
- For CNAs - You are required to provide 1 reference. It can be a peer, or a manager, or anybody you have worked with before.
These references need to be people you worked with or a peer within the healthcare field. References must be of equal or higher employment status. For example, a CNA cannot provide a reference for an LPN or RN.
You must provide the following information below:
- Name: Full name of your reference person.
- Company: Name of the company where they are currently working.
- Phone number or email address: An active mobile number or email address can be used.

Relationship: How are you related to them, either peer or manager?
- Worked from/Worked to - Timeframe of how long you worked together.
Updating References
References cannot be edited once the reference has been contacted.
If the reference is rejected, you will receive an SMS notification. If you encounter issues adding or updating your references, please utilize our IntelyCare in-app chat feature for immediate assistance. If emailing for help is your preference, simply send your message to credentialing@intelycare.com and one of our operations team members will answer you promptly!
