Below you can find a copy of the IntelyCare dress code. The Dress code policy must be always followed while on a healthcare facility premises. The IntelyCare, Inc. dress code includes but is not limited to the following:
- Professional healthcare attire is mandatory. Clothing must be clean, neat, free from strong or offensive odors (perfume, cigarette smoke, marijuana smoke, etc.), and allow for quick, efficient movement as necessary in the performance of job duties, including emergencies. A scrub top and scrub pants are recommended.
- Shoes must be clean, in good repair, provide good support and protection. Open-toed shoes are not permitted. Socks or stockings must be always worn.
- Fingernails must be kept short, clean, and natural; no artificial applications are to be worn.
- Hair must be neat and well-groomed.
- NOTE: If going between two different facilities (example: working a shift after your other staff job) you are required to change into a clean uniform to prevent transmission of potential infection.
Unacceptable attire includes, but is not limited to:
- Low cut, tank, tube, or sleeveless tops, including tops which exposure your midriff.
- Transparent, provocative, excessively form-fitting or revealing clothing.
- Mini skirts
- Athleisure and athletic wear (including sweat and warmup shirts or pants).
- Shorts
- Clothing with printed messages, caricatures, or pictorial representations (e.g., university logos, beverage cans, and cartoon characters).
- Applications that have the potential of falling off (e.g. sequins, glitter).
- Denim jeans (any color).
- Spandex tights or leggings.
- Fishnet stockings.
- Hats (other than nursing caps).
- Long dangling earrings, large or excessive necklaces and/or bracelets, and sharp rings are not acceptable.
