Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) have the opportunity to advance their professional qualifications by upgrading their licenses. They can continue their education while working in the healthcare field, gaining the knowledge and skills needed to advance in their careers. Through dedicated study and practical experience, CNAs can eventually become Registered Nurses (RNs), opening up a wider range of responsibilities and career opportunities within the nursing profession.
If you have transitioned from being a CNA to either a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or a Registered Nurse (RN), there are specific requirements that must be met. Please accumulate at least 6 months of professional experience under your new license type. Additionally, to ensure compliance and proper documentation, you must complete a license upgrade questionnaire. This process helps verify your qualifications and readiness to provide higher-level nursing care.
Please email credentialing@intelycare.com. They will be the ones to send you the license upgrade questionnaire.
