Tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious infection that generally presents as a respiratory illness but may spread to other parts of the body. It is particularly dangerous for the elderly and those with impaired immune systems, so all IntelyPros must be tested to ensure they cannot potentially spread it.
Q: What is the IntelyCare TB policy?
A: All IntelyPros must provide proof of a negative TB test (skin test or equivalent) within one year of hire. After hire, IntelyCare requires an updated TB Questionnaire or negative test on an annual basis.
Q: What information is required to fulfill the TB requirement?
A: You must provide IntelyCare with one of the following each year to fulfill the TB requirement:
- TB Questionnaire: Completed annually (this is the fastest option). Annual TB Symptoms Evaluation
- Skin Test: Step 1 or Step 2: Full Name, Administered Date, Read Date (48-72 hours after implant), Medical Provider's Signature.
- Blood Tests (Stage 2): QuantiFERON Gold or Spot Blood Test Results: Must include collection date, results (negative), and lab report if available.
- Chest X-Ray: Must include results stating, "No Sign of TB" and the Medical Provider’s Signature/Date. A completed Symptom Questionnaire is required to fulfill the TB chest x-ray.
Q: How can I update my annual TB requirement?
A: You can update your annual TB requirement by completing one of the following options:
- From a locked shift:
- Select "next steps to unlock".
- Select Questionnaire from the dropdown or upload a current TB.
- Select "next steps to unlock".
- Fill out the TB Questionnaire in the IntelyCare app. This is the fastest and most convenient method:

A: If your TB test expires and you do not renew it, you may be locked out of certain shifts. To keep available shifts unlocked and continue working with us, you'll need to fulfill the TB requirement each year.
Q: When will my completed TB Questionnaire be reflected in my profile?
A: Your updated TB Questionnaire will be reflected in your IntelyCare app within 48 hours of submission.
Q: Why was my updated TB rejected?
A: Your updated TB may have been rejected due to one or more reasons:
- Your document is missing required information, including your name, date of test, or results listed.
- Your document may not be clear or readable.
- If your document has important information on multiple pages, please email all pages to credentialing@intelycare.com in formats such as .jpg, .png, and .pdf. Do NOT submit .HEIC or large files.
Q: How can I make sure I am taking the correct steps to stay compliant with IntelyCare?
A: To stay compliant, you should:
- Read and respond to IntelyCare Quality Assurance emails.
- Review My Intelycare App notifications.
- If you are planning to get an updated TB test for your annual requirement, we recommend making an appointment 30 days prior to expiration.
- Complete your TB Questionnaire a minimum of 24-48 hours prior to expiration.
